Thankyou so much for this class! Through meditation as a Buddhist practitioner and the moral guidance of the precepts of buddhism over 10 years I have come to find and experience the factors which you describe here so eloquently, I have been buffeted and bashed by them and whirled and calmed by them but to hear these factors presented in such a conscise manner related to this story of Jacob brings to life the experience of confrontation - how it is the same for everyone and exactly HOW to go about applying them! It has brought me to an even deeper respect for Jewish practice and Torah. It is a priviledge to be part of the group through the internet. I think I will buy your book!
I am practicing Noahide now.
Awesome Video The woman on this video are very wise. I really appreciate the time taken to put together such an awesome video. There is much wisdom here.
How to confront an adversary is it ever possible, say the adversary is an inquisitor, or SS from WWII that after avoidance, and appeasement that annihilation of the attacker eventually becomes the only realistic option? I'm growing weary of Jew being synonymous with victim. We are OK to stand our ground, draw breath and not always be the abused. What about David and Goliath?
