So delightful to listen to and experience. Every step of the way - profound, thought provoking, enriching.... Thank you!
thank you Thank you very much for this beautiful lecture. Loved it.
That was one of the simplest, most stunning and profound things I've ever heard. You live when you're not worried about your needs and wants. That's usually a luxury most people (think they) can't afford. But everyone can, when they know that living a life of values, for Jews, Torah/Mitzvot enlarges their life.
For Rivka Habitual sinning can be frustrating. It seems your lack-of-love-for-self stems from this problem. It is imperative you deal with it. You are one step closer to repentance by recognizing the sin. It sounds like you are willing to change but are you sincerely penitent? Have you asked G-d for forgiveness?Have you asked Him for strength to overcome the sin?Have you sought counsel from your Rabbi? Maimonides asked,"What constitutes complete repentance?"He answered, "He who is confronted by the identical situation wherein he previously sinned and it lies within his power to commit the sin again, but he nevertheless does not succumb because he wishes to repent and not because he is too fearful or weak". Being at peace with G-d will rekindle your love for self. I hope I helped if even a little.
Not loving nor liking oneself
How does one resolve not liking nor loving oneself
