The number of children one has is determined by G-d Almighty. Not everyone is blessed with a large family. Therefore, a lot of what is said here simply does not apply as the dynamic is different in a smaller family. Also, just curious how many "special needs" kids do you have? Reply
How to reconcile the concept of free choice and G-d’s running the world is discussed elsewhere on this site. You’ll find many wonderful articles on the topic. Highly recommended. Bottom line: whatever G-d’s plan may be, we are responsible to do our part in fulfilling our obligations, however that makes sense. The purpose of this particular talk is to discuss an outlook that people can have, so they can at least try act upon it, and the rest is - as you said - up to G-d Reply
Tyvm for this-Incredible guidance! Shared with family and friends!

Amazing talk. But what if you're an introvert and noise overwhelms your system and your still want to have a large family?
I'd love Nechama Dina to answer and any readers too.

You can either teach your children to be quiet around you or not to disturb your quiet time. You could also realize that maybe your children’s noise will not be as disturbing as you think it may be. I also am an introvert, but that is different than being disturbed by loud noises. Also, by the time you have 4 or 5 the older ones can help with the younger ones. You set the tone of your household from the very first child. And like someone else said, we are not the deciders of how large our family is. Reply
